Ramone's Bakery and Cafe is hiring a baker Thursdays and Fridays.
Shifts are about 7 hours long and START at 6 PM lasting until around 1 AM.
The main responsibility is to bake our products using a large commercial oven.
This involves panning up food products onto baking sheets, proofing pastry products beforehand and mixing batches of scones. To get more shifts we could train on another position for those who desire more hours.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to walk/stand throughout your shift
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 40 lbs, reach overhead, and perform repetitive motion
SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS:
- Have experience working in a kitchen
- Be organized, fast, clean and efficient
- Be able to work independently as well as follow instructions
- Demonstrate a positive and team-oriented attitude
- Have excellent communication skills and work ethic
- Be willing to work longer hours during busy times
