Hello there! We are Obento, a small Japanese fast casual restaurant in Arcata. We are currently seeking to add two people to our growing team! With our recently opened new storefront, we're finding ourselves in need of a larger crew! These positions would involve working side by side with the owners everyday, with the possibility of moving up. We are looking to fill the following positions:
PM Cook Lead
Hours: Monday- Friday 2-8:30pm
Wage: $18.50/hr plus tips and free shift meal
Start Date: Between July 28th and August 4th
Duties: We are seeking an experienced kitchen lead to come in and take on partial managerial duties. These would include: inventory, quality control, managing a team and disciplining when necessary, costumer service and problem solving. The owners are there mostly everyday and will take care of scheduling, supply chain, recipes etc. Seeking someone with experience.
AM Cashier
Hours : Monday-friday 10-2
Wage: $17/hr plus tips and free shift meal
Start date: between July 28th and August 4th
Duties: Customer service, cash handling, keeping dining room clean and stocked.
PM Cashier
Hours: Monday-friday 4:30-8:30pm
Wage: $17/hours plus tips and free shift meal
Start date: August 11th
Duties: Customer service, cash handling, keeping dining room clean and stocked.
