The Deputy Development Services Director, under general direction, plans, organizes, and provides administrative direction and oversight for all functions and activities of the Development Services Department. Provides strategic management and leadership and assists in meeting state and federal mandates and in advancing the Department’s mission. Responsible for ensuring that division programs and services achieve targeted outcomes, directs functions and ensures that resources are efficiently managed across all divisions. Provides highly complex, professional and responsible support and assistance to the Development Services Director, the City Council, and City Boards and Commissions in areas of expertise and performs related work as required.
