Pay: $31.34 - $39.31 per hour

The Redwood Coast Energy Authority (RCEA) is seeking a full-time program Specialist to support our Demand Side Management and energy program functions. The Specialist’s key functions include overseeing the RCEA rebate processing, interacting with customers and stakeholders, and reporting.

Under the supervision of a DSM Manager, this role will work closely with the DSM team and partners while interfacing with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver community focused services to a broad cross section of ratepayers. The ideal candidate will be flexible, detail-oriented, and solution-focused.

Activities include:

-Act as lead for supporting customers, contractors, and vendors with participating in RCEA’s Equipment rebate program and Heat Pump rebate program.

-Act as lead for processing forms and documentation for RCEA’s Equipment rebate program and Heat Pump rebate program.

-Coordinate efforts across co-workers and partners on rebate processing.

-Support customers and contractors/ vendors with submissions to external rebate programs including the TECH Clean California program.

-Be proficient in data entry and reporting using various databases, portals, and workbooks for rebate programs offered by RCEA and select external programs.

-Engage with customers, partners, contractors, and vendors to promote RCEA services and convey eligibility and technical requirements.

-Review rebate workpapers in CA Electronic Technical Reference Manual for eligibility and technical requirements and update the team.

-Under general supervision, act as lead on maintaining RCEA’s rebate catalogs.

-Be proficient in DSM’s general customer intake process and support the intake team as needed.

-Support program outreach activities.

-Assist with developing, improving, and updating processes and procedural documents of existing and future rebate programs.

Work Schedule and Benefits:

This position is a non-exempt full-time assignment, scheduled for 40 hours per week. This position will perform most of their work at RCEA’s central office location in Eureka, CA. Office hours are 8 am-5 pm Monday through Friday.
