Duties:
- Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling and cancellations
-Greet and welcome Patients in a friendly and professional manner
-Check In and Check-out patients ensuring accuracy of information and providing necessary assistance
-Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries, proving information about dental service offered.
-Understanding HIPPA compliance and conform to it
-Process patient payments including insurance payments and maintain accurate records of transactions
-Assist with other front desk team members and coordinate workflow with Dental assistance and Hygienist
-Gather New Patient intake informations, sending out forms for completion and completing new parent documents
-Process dental insurance information completing insurance eligibility and coverage
-Coding dental treatment plans and presenting to patients
-Perform general administrative task such as filing, data entry and patient communication correspondence
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in Dental Front Office role is required
-Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
-Strong mathematical skills
-Excellent phone etiquette and strong communication skills
-Ability to provide exceptional patient service and handle difficult situations with professionalism
-DENTRIX software knowledge a plus
-Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) a plus
-Flexibility to work various shifts, including some Fridays and Saturday
