Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients warmly and professionally, ensuring a positive first impression
Schedule and confirm patient appointments, managing calendars efficiently
Answer and direct phone calls, addressing patient inquiries or concerns
Verify insurance information and update patient records in the system
Process patient payments and manage billing procedures
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies
Ensure a smooth and organized front office, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for patients
Support ophthalmologists and office staff as needed, ensuring efficient office flow
Qualifications:
Previous experience (preferred but not required)
Exceptional communication and customer service skills
Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and professionalism
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Knowledge of basic office software and scheduling systems (experience with medical software is a plus)
Bilingual (preferred but not required)
