Active Care Chiropractic is seeking talented massage therapists to join our team. Our therapists have a strong therapeutic focus and are motivated to expand their knowledge. -EXPERIENCE
Credentialing with CAMTC is required. If you are not credentialed but have 500 hours of education we can assist with the process. The ability to be a team player and work in a non-competitive atmosphere is a must.
-ALL SUPPLIES PROVIDED: Each therapy room is fully equipped and you’ll have access to exercise mats, foam rollers, yoga balls, Thera-bands and other helpful exercise equipment. Laundry is performed in-house.
-FRONT OFFICE SUPPORT: Our friendly office staff greets, checks in and schedules patients to support you in what you do best, caring for patients.
-EDUCATION & TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES: Educational opportunities may be provided in-house and through outside organizations. Your time is valued and compensated during any required training.
-REQUIREMENTS:
-Massage Therapist Certification with minimum 500 hours of training
-Solid charting and clinical skills
-Strong deep-tissue/specific therapeutic skills and understanding of anatomy and kinesiology
-Excellent client communication skills and a desire to educate patients
(clinical work requires excellent in-session communication and teamwork with patient to help assess and treat core issues)
-A team player
-A passion to continue to learn and improve skills

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
-This is an EMPLOYEE position (not independent contractor) meaning your pay is free from self-employment tax
Starting at $35 per massage hour +tips
+$16.50/hr “administrative time” before and after shifts- this time is utilized by reviewing patients’ chart before session, room prep/cleanup, charting and other clinic duties
Compensation for patient no-shows and same-day cancellations
5 annual sick days
Paid $16.50/hr training sessions-as needed to learn and practice important skills and tasks
Paid continuing education opportunities
AVAILABLE SHIFTS
-Monday/Thursday/Friday/Saturday shifts available
-Office hours available for massage 2:30-7:30, Sat 9:00-1:00
-4-5 patients are seen in a shift
-We ask for a minimum of 12 hours/week
