Redwood Focused Care Clinics (affiliated with Redwood Urgent Care and Redwood Laboratory) is now looking to hire a full-time experienced Medical Receptionist AND back office medical assistant in Eureka, CA. Medical Receptionist: This position requires a high degree of customer service, professionalism, and attention to detail. Candidate must be proactive, upbeat, self-sufficient, and comfortable with multitasking. This role expects familiarity with computers, managing multiple phone-lines, scheduling, patient referrals, and patient confidentiality laws. Experience in internal medicine, family medicine, or primary care preferred.
Back office medical assistant duties include: Rooming patients and obtaining vital signs, administering injections and medications, relaying test results and instructions to patient per provider's instructions, etc.
A minimum of 1 years experience in primary care, family medicine or internal medicine recommended, medical assisting certification preferred but not required.
This posting is for 2 full-time positions, Monday through Friday. Benefits package for full-time employees include: paid time-off, anniversary PTO, sick leave, and insurance for health, life, vision, and dental, and paid holiday's off.
