High quality, high-volume spay/neuter clinic located in Eureka, CA is seeking a full- or part-time Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team of dedicated professionals. Must be able to safely handle and restrain animals for exams and be experienced with anesthesia, induction, intubation, surgical prep and monitoring. The RVT is responsible for overseeing daily care of all surgical patients, and for assisting the veterinarian with pre- and post-operative care of patients. The RVT also assists with wellness care appointments, including intake and release of patients, communicating with owners in a clear and professional manner, and may assist with scheduling and appointment confirmation. Our clinic currently operates four days a week; no evenings or weekends. This is an hourly position, with compensation starting at $18 to 20 per hour, depending on experience. Must have at least one year of experience and possess a current California RVT license.
