Hospice of Humboldt is looking for a Full-time Clinical Administrator for our Hospice House.
The Clinical Administrator is responsible for the oversight and daily operations of the Ida Emmerson Hospice House (IEHH) in-patient hospice facility. The Clinical Administrator supervises the provision and coordination of all patient care activities related to the IEHH. The Clinical Administrator also provides administrate oversight for the facility, including staffing, compliance and quality improvement and budget oversight.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
2. Current California Registered Nurse license
3. Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a professional nurse.
4. Prior nursing management/leadership experience.
5. Strong interest in end-of-life care and basic knowledge of Hospice regulatory issues
6. Demonstrated critical thinking skills and excellent clinical judgment
7. Experience working effectively with an interdisciplinary team
8. Valid driver’s license, proof of acceptable automobile insurance coverage, and reliable transportation as specified by
Hospice of Humboldt’s policies
9. Reliable mobile phone with plan that provides good local coverage.
10. Basic computer skills
