About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Masticator Operator to join our expanding team. You’ll be operating heavy equipment (e.g., skid steer with masticator head) on vegetation management, fuels reduction, and wildfire mitigation projects throughout Northern California.
We work with federal, state, tribal, and non-profit partners on grant-funded projects that make a real impact. If you want to work in the woods, do meaningful restoration work, and be part of a tight-knit crew—this job is for you.
Responsibilities:
✅ Operate masticator and other forestry equipment safely and efficiently
✅ Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment checks
✅ Work in rugged, remote outdoor environments
✅ Collaborate with a team of fellers, climbers, sawyers, and forestry techs
✅ Adhere to all safety protocols and project specifications
