Lost Coast Brewery is seeking a skilled orchardist/gardener to work our lands!
This job entails taking care of an apple orchard and general gardening, and other duties as assigned. You must have considerable knowledge in irrigation set-up, pruning, and integrated pest management. You must also know how to operate a chainsaw and tractor. Knowledge of grafting would be useful. Applicants will be tested on knowledge of the above requirements.
In addition, you must have transportation and a valid driver's license. The person must be self-motivated and able to work on their own without supervision.
The wage will depend on the person's skills, with opportunity for advancement. Lost Coast Brewery provides vacation pay, holiday pay, health/dental insurance, and a retirement package to employees who complete their probationary period.
