Job Description:
We are currently seeking hard-working, reliable Underground Construction Laborers for a prevailing wage fiber installation project in Klamath River, California. This is a temporary position expected to last approximately 2 months, with day shift hours and an hourly wage of $66.41 prevailing wage.
This project involves pulling and blowing fiber optic cable, working in and around underground utility infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the installation of fiber optic cable using pulling and blowing equipment
Perform manual labor in underground utility environments
Push, pull, lift, and carry materials exceeding 80 lbs
Operate hand tools and construction equipment safely and effectively
Follow all OSHA and company safety standards
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Maintain a clean and organized job site
Requirements:
Must be able to push/pull/lift 80+ lbs consistently
Previous experience in underground construction or utility labor preferred
Willingness to work outdoors in physically demanding conditions
Must have reliable transportation to job site
Ability to work well in a team environment
Must adhere to all safety and jobsite protocols
