About Us: Pacific Northwest Organics is an industry leading company committed to delivering exceptional products and innovative solutions to our customers. We are seeking a dynamic Operations Staff person to join our team and perform efficient and effective daily operations.

Job Summary: The Operations/Warehouse Staff will be responsible for performing various tasks related to warehouse operations and inventory management. This role involves ensuring efficient and accurate handling of products, maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment, and supporting daily production activities. The Operations and Warehouse Staff will report to the Operations Manager and Ownership.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory. Ensure accurate inventory records and manage stock levels to prevent shortages or overages.

Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment in accordance with company standards and customer requirements. Verify order accuracy and ensure timely delivery.

Daily Production: Perform production activities to meet inventory demands. Partner with Operations Manager to ensure the products are ready for packaging.

Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. Arrange products and materials efficiently to optimize space and accessibility.

Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. Perform routine maintenance and report any equipment issues.

Quality Control: Inspect products for damage or defects and report any issues to the Operations Manager. Ensure that products meet quality standards before shipping.

Shipping and Receiving: Process shipping and receiving documents, including packing slips, bills of lading, and shipping labels.

Data Entry: Accurately enter inventory and shipping data into the company’s inventory management system. Update records and generate reports as required.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor.

Customer Service: Provide excellent service to support customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent or 4 years of experience in warehouse operations or a similar role is preferred.

Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.

Basic understanding of inventory management and order fulfillment processes.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good physical condition with the ability to lift and move heavy objects.

Proficiency in using software and basic computer skills.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
