Trinidad Rancheria is hiring for a Zero Waste Technician.
The Zero Waste Technician, under the general supervision of the Natural Resources Department Director, has the overall responsibility of executing activities of the Trinidad Rancheria Solid and Hazardous Waste Management Programs. Program activities will establish, increase, and expand composting and recycling infrastructure through the Zero-waste facility and collect data on the rate, quality, and quantity of materials processed through the facility and maintain the facility and equipment in clean, safe, and efficient working order.
Extensive training will be provided for chosen candidate. We're looking for a hardworking individual ready for a challenge, and who's comfortable and competent working with machinery.
The Zero Waste Technician position is full time and includes the following benefits: health, dental and vision insurance options, Paid time off, 401K, and more.
Must possess valid CA Driver's License, be insurable by Tribe's Insurance, pass pre-employment drug screening, including THC, random drug screening, and Tribal background check.
