Full Time (40 hours/week)

(Annual Salary Dependent on Experience)

General Function: Under the supervision of Two Feathers Executive Director, this individual is required to maintain the development, implementation, management and oversight of the Two Feathers Garret Lee Smith Grant Program including, but not limited to grants and contracts compliance, staffing and supervision, budgets, reporting, and program development. The Project Director provides overall administrative direction and organization leadership as related to grant requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

Assist in development of grant program staffing plans, hiring of new personnel, and coordinating necessary consultation groups to sit on interviewing panel while hiring.

Perform all aspects of grantsmanship including development, budget management and project direction.

Write and submit required reports to funding agency.

Coordinate necessary site visits and travel as required by the funding agency.

Coordinate the development of, and or completion of, all fiscal and narrative reports as required by the funding agency.

Develop outreach initiatives.

Coordinate and provide staff training programs, provide daily management and supervision of grant staff.

Maintain procedures and data gathering systems and coordinate data collection and reporting for the grant project.

Participate in team meetings and appropriate community meetings related to the grant program.

Attend/organize appropriate conferences and training to enhance education and awareness including grants management.

Participate on conference planning panels.

Develop and maintain partnerships with other community-based agencies or referral services.

Required Qualifications

Must have a completed graduate level degree in Social Work or Psychology AND have a current State MFT or LCSW license or be registered as an Associate Clinical Social Worker or Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. Must be in good standing with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (Two Feathers Native American Family Services offers free clinical supervision to any staff registered as an ASW or AMFT). Must have at least two years experience in grant management including fiscal management, data collection and reporting and staff supervision. Demonstrated experience in working in tribal communities with Native American youth and their families. Experience working in mental health related organizations preferred. Must pass a mandated FBI background investigation. Demonstrated experience in providing psychotherapy to Native American children and adults. Must have a commitment to understand, support and model the mission and values of Two Feathers Native American Family Services.
