Under the direct supervision of the Director of Agency Programs, this position has responsibility for the day-to-day management and supervision of Area 1 Agency on Aging (A1AA) Older Americans Act, Title IIIB; CalFresh; and Older Californian’s Act direct services programs offered by A1AA in Humboldt and Del Norte Counties. The manager is expected to work closely with staff, other agencies, community members, local governmental and non-profit agencies, committees, and boards as appropriate to ensure the coordination and provision of responsive and accessible services.
BA or BS degree with major course work in social services, health services, or public administration, and
two years of administrative experience in a community planning or health or human services agency is
preferred.
Three years of administrative experience or a direct-service position in a community planning or health or human services organization with increasing management-level responsibility may be considered in lieu of a degree. A Master’s degree may substitute for two years of the required experience. 35 hours per week (exempt position). Starting range $66,650-$75,657. Health, dental, and vision.
