Mobilehome Park Manager
Compensation: $20-$23.00/hr. DOE. Living onsite is not required but should housing and utilities be provided, they will be considered part of compensation.
Employment type: full-time Monday through Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
Job Title: Mobilehome Park Manager for a 55+ year old park. You do not need to be a senior for this position.
Prior property/small business management experience is REQUIRED
We are seeking a highly responsible, honest, and motivated individual who is guided by common sense and has the skills to be well organized, pro-active, and sensitive to residents’ concerns. Fine-tuned communication skills are a top priority. This is a property management position, which means people management. In addition, several administrative responsibilities require attention to detail and to be completed in a timely manner. The park manager should be an independent thinker and starter while working with a remote management team. Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required. Knowledge of property management accounting systems such as Manage America is a plus.
The ideal candidate will be willing to perform regular tasks, such as the following (this is not an all-inclusive list):
Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Park.
Knowledge of MH Residency Laws, Title 25 and classes provided by WMA is a must.
Prepare and distribute rent statements; collect rent checks and conduct electronic deposits.
Responsible for interviewing potential new residents, processing applications, and conducting all lease signings.
Maintain accurate and thorough Resident files.
Submit weekly and monthly reports, accounts payable, and other reports to Property Management company on/by
required due dates.
Establish and maintain a rapport with residents and vendors on a regular basis.
Ability to enforce and follow through with Park rules and regulations, including legal actions.
Maintain and oversee the maintenance of the Park, common areas, and facilities. Some lifting may be necessary.
Be solution-oriented, creative, and receptive toward all residents.
Conduct themselves in a professional, yet approachable manner.
