Position: Full Stack Developer
Location: Remote (Preferred: West Coast to Central Time Zones)
Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000

StreamGuys provides robust streaming and content management tools for broadcasters and podcasters. As we transition to a more containerized and automated stack, we're looking to add a versatile developer who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Role Overview
We're seeking a Software Developer to support the build-out of key product features across our streaming and content tools. Applications developed span a wide range of services in the Internet Radio industry, including archival, creation, manipulation, and monitoring of both live and on-demand multimedia for community and enterprise media clients alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and enhance features across our backend and frontend systems to support streaming, content management, and
metadata services
- Develop cross-compatible frontend features with an eye for clean, efficient CSS and browser compatibility
- Contribute to backend development, improving API performance and enhancing system stability
- Identify and resolve issues quickly, keeping our product base reliable and user-friendly
- Lifecycle management of code, upgrade dependencies and keep platforms up to date
Technical Requirements Core Technologies:
- Languages: Node.js, PHP, Golang
- Database: Strong familiarity with MySQL and NoSQL solutions (MariaDB, Redis, Mongo etc)
- Frontend: CSS and cross-browser compatibility expertise
- Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible
- Version Control: Git
Development Methodologies:
- API-first application development
- Test Driven Development
- CI/CD implementation
- MVC architectures
- Framework experience (e.g., Laravel)
- Strong Linux CLI skills
- Experience with containerization and horizontally scalable solutions
Professional Skills
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and proactive approach to tasks
- Ability to troubleshoot independently while knowing when to seek help
- Capable of adapting to changing priorities
- Strong critical-thinking approach to problem solving and issue identification
- Can write code to requirements which do not yet exist
- Must have a good sense of humor
