CONSTRUCTION COMPANY SEEKING AN EXPERIENCED CONSTRUCTION WORKER SKILLED IN FRAMING, SHEETROCK, AND ELECTRICAL WORK AND CONSTRUCTION LABORER
Interview to be held in Eureka in the Victoria Shopping Center on

Framing
Install framing for commercial and residential projects
Understands how to properly frame: Measure, cutting wood, cutting metal studs
Sheetrock installation
Understand how to properly install sheetrock.
Must be able to lift a 4"x 8" sheet of sheetrock safely.
Electrician
Must be familiar with installation of commercial and light industrial electrical work: Underground, Lighting,
Lighting Control, Branch Wiring (Romex, M/C Cable, EMT, Rigid), Feeder Conduits, Feeder Cabling /
Termination, Switchgear, Transformers, Panels, Equipment Hook-up, Generators, Lighting Control, and
Device Make-up. Must be familiar with the NEC.
Must be able to read and understand blue prints and electrical one line diagrams
Qualifications
Great communication skills
Great attention to detail
At least 3 years of experience in commercial and residential construction
Familiarity with carpentry tools and construction procedures
Must have transportation
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Required to work independently on their own without direct supervision.
Salary: $24-32/hr
Skill Construction Experience:
construction: 1 year (Preferred)
framing: 1 year (Preferred)
carpentry/renovation: 1 year (Preferred)
Electrician: 1 year (required)
Hours per week: Full-time
Construction Laborer
Primary Job Duties:
Perform general construction labor, including job site clean-up.
Move various construction materials, both by hand and utilizing various material transport mechanisms.
Engage in preparation work to ready worksite for journeyman employees (carpenters, form setters, finishers,
etc.) to perform defined tasks.
Operate motorized equipment including power tools, saws, etc.
Monitor processes, materials, and/or surroundings.
Perform functions according to company and OSHA safety guidelines.
Load and unload materials, machinery, and tools
Clean and prepare sites to eliminate possible hazards
Requirements:
Regular, timely, and predictable attendance is required for this position.
Perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions. Must have excellent stamina.
Be able to reach for, manipulate and feel objects; stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl; potentially for long
periods.
Climb and maintain body balance on ladders, scaffolding, or high structures.
Lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Work successfully as a team.
Ability to understand and follow directions with moderate supervision.
Ability to communicate effectively
Salary: $15-17/hr

Both job positions must be able to:
Use methods, tools, and equipment necessary in carpentry
Follow job site safety rules and regulations (OSHA)
Follow building codes and regulations
Operate light equipment (Bobcats, forklifts, etc.)
Respond and implement the requirements of change orders
Read and interpret blueprints
