Weburg Mobile Diesel is looking to add another technician to our team. We are looking for a responsible individual with experience in the repair industry. The position consists of driving a service truck to customer locations, performing repairs and preventative maintenance on commercial trucks, buses and diesel-powered equipment. The ideal candidate would have a working knowledge of air brakes, hydraulics, diesel fuel systems, and computer diagnostics. Willing to train the right candidate with the appropriate related experience.
Job Responsibilities:
Drive service truck to customers’ location to perform service & repairs
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, BIT / DOT inspections on trucks, trailers & buses
Perform a variety of repairs to commercial trucks and equipment, including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension and
electrical systems
Communicate repair information to the service manager verbally and in writing
Provide excellent customer service to customers, drivers & fleet managers
Perform roadside service calls for trucks, trailers & buses
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
1 years experience as a mechanic, either in an automotive repair shop, truck repair shop or equivalent.
Be able to work completely independently and as part of a team.
Ability to use computer diagnostic software and the ability to look up repair documentation.
Ability to work some overtime as required
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. (Commercial drivers license not
required)
A basic understanding of welding processes, oxy acetylene cutting / heating is preferred
ASE / dealer certifications or equivalent training, preferred.
