About the Job
We’re looking for an Experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our construction team. You’ll perform maintenance and repairs on excavators, dozers, loaders, scrapers, graders, and other construction machinery used in site development and earthwork.

Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical and powertrain systems
Perform field service and preventive maintenance on heavy equipment
Troubleshoot with diagnostic tools and service manuals
Rebuild or replace major components (engines, transmissions, pumps, etc.)
Maintain accurate work orders and service logs
Operate equipment to verify repairs
Follow all company and OSHA safety procedures
Support operators and foremen to minimize downtime
Requirements
5+ years experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic (construction experience required)
Strong knowledge of diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems
Welding/fabrication skills a plus
Valid driver’s license (Class A or B CDL preferred)
Must provide basic tools
Able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions
Reliable, self-motivated, and safety-oriented
