Looking for a carpenter with journeyman level experience.
Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with power tools, saws, drills, and other construction-related tools
Knowledge of basic construction codes
Hands on experience with framing
Knowledge and experience doing cabinet installation, trim carpentry, bathroom renovations, kitchen renovations, basic plumbing, electrical, drywall and installation of kitchen appliances
Well-organized with exceptional follow-through abilities
Possess a high level of self awareness and desire to develop professionally
Ability to build trust and diffuse conflict
Demonstrates a positive attitude and is customer-oriented
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential Construction/Renovation & Remodeling services
Must possess valid state driver’s license
Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing, sitting, or walking
Must be able to lift at least 100lbs
Responsibilities:
The Journeyman will be tasked with ensuring that all construction projects and installations are completed in a safe and timely manner
Perform a range of manual work including carpentry, some electrical work, plumbing tasks, etc
Oversee project planning, resource & material preparation, and ensure the material is on the jobsite
Oversee the jobsite if the Site Supervisor is unavailable to support
Proactively plan for potential issues or roadblocks on the jobsite
Tasked with blueprint reading to ensure that a project is completed in the proper and timely manner
Handle the process from demo to finish including rough framing, electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, and finishes - finish carpentry, finish electrical, plumbing, flooring, etc
Benefits
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00/hr - based on experience
401k, PTO and sick pay
Expected hours: 40 per week
