Lamps by Hilliard is looking for an additional tile wrapper to work on a contracted basis.
We are a local production company based in Arcata. We make lamps of various materials but the majority are made of glass and bronze.
The selected candidate would be given initial training and rundown of quality expectation. The candidate would also be required to pick up the provided glass tiles and copper tape, wrap the tiles then return the wrapped tiles in a timely manner. Jobs are paid per tile wrapped. The candidate is expected to wrap between 1000-2000 tiles a week. The work is simple but highly repetitive.
The idea candidate is someone who is patient, responsible, dexterous, pays attention to detail and who can manage their own time.
Contracted jobs are inconsistent in size and timing as they are based on demand in lamp sales. However, our previous tile wrappers could make about $300-$600 a month on average and sometimes more. It also depends on your availability and speed.
The best part about this is you get to work from home and on your own schedule. All we ask are the wrapped tiles meet our standards and our deadlines are met.
