CAE Transport Inc. (City Cab) needs part-time and full-time taxicab drivers who are reliable, motivated to work and available for various shifts, 24/7. The ideal candidates will have open availability, be able to work almost any shift, any day of the week, be outgoing, neat and clean, and have great people skills!
The hourly wage is $16.00, and you can expect to make between $5 - $15 per hour in tips. There is excellent potential for tips for superior drivers who deliver exceptional customer service. Our best drivers often make more in tips than in wages. Cleanliness, intelligence and a personable, friendly demeanor can earn a taxi driver larger tips. Providing top-notch customer service is a win for the customer AND the driver.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Age 21 or older
Friendly, positive attitude
Good "people skills"
Neat and clean appearance
Current California driver's license
Good driving record
Familiarity with local geography helpful
Nonsmokers preferred
Upon being offered a position, newly hired taxicab drivers must apply for a Taxi Permit with the City of Eureka, via the Eureka Police Dept. The one-time cost is $168 and includes a background check and Livescan fingerprinting. Applicants must also supply two passport-style photos for the permit.
