Are you a self-motivated and experienced individual looking for a rewarding opportunity? We're seeking a responsible and skilled Yard Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy yard in El Centro, California.
In this role, you'll be responsible for:
Tenant Oversight: Serving as a point of contact for tenants, ensuring smooth communication and addressing their needs.
Storage Management: Organizing and maintaining efficient storage systems within the yard.
Inventory Control: Accurately tracking and managing inventory levels.
Heavy Duty Machinery Operation (Preferred): Operating equipment such as forklifts, loaders, etc., safely and efficiently. Experience is a significant plus!
Yard Maintenance: Keeping the yard clean, organized, and in good working order.
General Handywork: Performing various maintenance and repair tasks as needed.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Proven experience in a similar role, demonstrating strong organizational and management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
The ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Experience operating heavy-duty machinery is highly desirable.
A proactive approach to maintenance and problem-solving.
