As our company continues to grow, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Manager to lead our crews, oversee sales, and help expand our client base.
Position Overview
The Business Manager is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing field crews, driving sales operations, and promoting business growth. This position requires an individual who can handle hiring, training, and supervising crews, conduct daily meetings, and actively work in the field overseeing installation, canvassing, and sales operations. The ideal candidate will combine strong management skills with field experience in synthetic grass, turf, and landscaping.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Field Management
Hire, train, and supervise field and sales teams.
Work directly with crews in the field to ensure project quality, safety, and efficiency.
Maintain a positive and productive work culture focused on results.
Oversee daily scheduling, crew assignments, and performance evaluations.
Handle disciplinary actions and terminations when necessary.
Sales & Business Growth
Lead and manage daily canvassing operations and neighborhood outreach.
Conduct daily motivational meetings to set and review sales targets.
Meet with customers, provide estimates, and close contracts.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
Promote the company’s reputation through professionalism and service excellence.
Operations & Administration
Monitor job progress, material usage, and project budgets.
Report daily to ownership on team performance, sales, and project status.
Ensure all work meets company standards for quality and client satisfaction.
Represent Flawless Grass Hardscape at community events and promotional activities.
Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of management experience in synthetic grass, turf installation, and landscaping.
Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in the field.
Strong background in hiring, training, and performance management.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Hands-on attitude with willingness to work outdoors.
Successful sales experience and ability to close deals.
Availability to work long and flexible hours, including weekends.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $5,500 per month
Commission: Performance-based may
make $300,000.00 per year
