We are seeking a reliable and experienced Janitor to join our day care center team in Chino Hills. The ideal candidate will have previous janitorial experience, a strong attention to detail, and live nearby for easy commuting. You will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facility, ensuring a welcoming environment for children, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize classrooms, restrooms, and common areas
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
Empty trash and recycling bins
Ensure supplies (soap, paper towels, etc.) are stocked
Perform routine inspections to identify cleanliness or maintenance issues
Assist with light maintenance tasks as needed
Follow safety protocols and health guidelines
Requirements:
Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred
Ability to lift and move light to medium loads (up to 25 lbs)
Strong attention to detail and reliability
Must live nearby for easy commuting
Authorized to work in the U.S.
