We are currently looking to hire 1 Line Cook,1 Prep Cook and 2 Dishwashers (Must be over 18). Hours Vary depending upon needs. MUST be available weekends. Pay is based on experience. Very competitive.
Must have experience working in a high-volume setting. Chase's Restaurant specializes in Prime Steaks, and dishes from scratch. We are an extremely busy and high-volume restaurant. See website for information about our restaurant.
For our line cook position, someone with "Grill experience" preferred but not necessary.
Line Cook responsibilities include:
Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
Preparing food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
Cooking menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
Prep Cook: We make all of our food items from scratch. You must be able to read recipes, work with kitchen equipment, and follow the directions of our executive chef and management team. Prep is very high pace due to our high volume. Must be able to multi-task, work fast, and work clean.
Job brief
We are looking for a professional Line Cook to prepare food to the exact chef’s specifications and to set up stations for menu. Line Cook duties will consist of assisting the executive and sous chef with their daily tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.
Responsibilities

Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions
Clean up station and take care of leftover food
Stock inventory appropriately
Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Requirements and skills
Proven cooking experience, including experience as a Line Chef, Restaurant Cook or Prep Cook
Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
Familiar with industry’s best practices
