We are located on 15871 Pomona Rincon Rd Suite 100.
Position: Line Cook
We are looking for a motivated and hard-working individual who has a willingness to learn. Being a line cook at Take Ur Seat means you will be contributing to a growing local restaurant who focuses on professionalism, team dynamics, and excellent customer service.Your hands will be one of many cooking our American Breakfast with an Asian twist. Responsibilities:
Cooking menu items to Take Ur Seat standards
Stocking/preparing necessary supplies that will be used during service
Setting up/breaking down of workstations
Handling fresh produce/meat; washing, cutting, peeling, slicing, etc.
Ensure food comes out simultaneously, in a high quality and timely fashion
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests
Compliance of health and safety regulations;
Qualifications:
Proven cooking experience
Knowledge of basic cooking methods, equipment, and procedures
Ability to listen and communicate effectively with other team members
Ability to multitask
Must be able to stand, bend, stretch, lift, and carry heavy materials
Performs tasks quickly, accurately, and attentive to detail
Work Hours & Benefits:
Brunch restaurant that operates 8am-2pm Mon-Friday and 8am-3pm Sat-Sun; expect to 1 hr early if opening and 1 hr later if closing
Hourly wage starts at $19/hr with tips sharing.
