Chairside Assistance:
Setting up and maintaining a sterile treatment area.
Passing instruments to the dentist during procedures.
Maintaining proper suction and isolation techniques.
Assisting with four-handed dentistry.
Radiography:
Taking and processing dental X-rays according to safety protocols.
Mounting and labeling X-rays for review.
Sterilization and Infection Control:
Properly cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing dental instruments.
Following infection control guidelines to maintain a sterile environment.
Administrative Tasks:
Scheduling patient appointments.
Maintaining dental records and patient information.
Answering phone calls and managing patient inquiries.
Patient Education:
Providing oral hygiene instructions and demonstrating proper brushing and flossing techniques.
Explaining dental procedures and treatment plans to patients.
