Home Health Aide

Responsibilities
- Provide home community care to clients in accordance with individual care plans
- Assist with catheter care and other medical procedures as required
- Support individuals in assisted living facilities with activities of daily living
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards
- Work with people with developmental disabilities to enhance their independence and quality of life
- Provide specialized dementia care to clients experiencing memory-related challenges
- Offer compassionate caregiving services tailored to each client's unique needs
- Assist with hospice care services and end-of-life support
- Prepare meals and cook nutritious food for clients as needed
Experience
- Prior experience in home care or a related healthcare setting is preferred
- Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities is advantageous
- Knowledge of dementia care practices is beneficial
- Experience in hospice care is a plus
- Ability to cook and prepare meals for clients is desirable
