We are seeking an experienced Optician to join our team at SoCal Optometry, a locally owned, veteran-owned practice in Riverside. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and enjoys helping people look and see their best.
Schedule:
Tuesday–Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Full-time position
Responsibilities:
Assist patients in selecting frames and lens options tailored to their vision needs and lifestyle
Perform frame adjustments and minor eyewear repairs
Educate patients on lens features and benefits
Accurately measure and fit eyewear for optimal comfort and vision
Maintain optical inventory and displays
Deliver excellent customer service in a professional, friendly manner
Requirements:
Prior experience as an optician is required
Knowledge of lens materials, coatings, and vision plans
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to multitask in a busy office setting
Spanish preferred (not required)
