Job Title: Pharmacy Technician Representative
Location: Corona, CA 92880
Duration: 3 months
Shift: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM with 1-hour lunch On-site position
Roles and Responsibilities:
Select and retrieve appropriate medications
Verify quantities and prepare labels for bottles
Send orders to pharmacy staff for completion and verification of prescription-based programs
Select appropriate packing materials and prepare packages for shipment
Require walking, standing, and repetitive up and down lifting of boxes weighing 35lb and repetitive pulling of prescriptions 95% of the work time
Enclose client specified materials to orders
Affix shipping labels on packages and sort by carrier
Clean equipment and replenish workstation supply like pill bottles, caps, boxes, and paper
Assist pharmacist with deliveries, inventory control, equipment cleaning, and inbound phone calls
Other duties as assigned
Skills:
High School diploma or GED required
0-1 years of experience that is relevant to the role
A valid CA Pharmacy Technician license required
Basic math skills and general PC knowledge (i.e. Microsoft Office, Internet, and Email)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Experience working on your feet in a physical role and ability to lift up to 35-pound packages
Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate peak volume times
Willingness and ability to learn internal systems/processes as needed
3 Non-Negotiable Skills:
- Works well in team environment
- Pulling and packing medication
- Comes to work as scheduled (8:30am - 5:30pm)
Education:
High School diploma or GED required
A valid CA Pharmacy Technician license required
