Accounting Assistant in the city of Rancho Cucamonga $19- 20 DOE
As an Accounting Assistant, you will work closely with our accounting team to support various financial tasks. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to prioritize tasks, and a commitment to accuracy as well as serve as a backup to our receptionist when needed.
Essential Functions
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and customer invoicing.
Reaches out to customers and/or vendors regarding any payment issues
Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analysis.
Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed.
Sorts and distributes internal and external mail.
Answers, screens, and directs incoming telephone calls as a back-up to Receptionist during his/her lunch break
Qualifications
At least 1-year certificate from college or technical school, six months to one-year related accounting experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Accurately type 40 wpm.
Experience with 10-key data entry by touch with a high level of speed and accuracy.
1-2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Work Schedule
Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm, with minimum required 1 Hour lunch break. Schedule may change per company needs.
