Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Apartment Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential property maintenance, with specific experience managing properties with 300 or more units.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in overseeing all aspects of property maintenance, including repairs, preventive maintenance, and renovations.

Coordinate and prioritize maintenance requests to ensure timely resolution and resident satisfaction.

Conduct regular inspections of units and common areas to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Supervise maintenance staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory, and equipment.

Collaborate with property management team to develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures.

Respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies as needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential property maintenance.

Previous experience managing properties with 300 or more units strongly preferred.

Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems.

Proven leadership abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

HVAC certification or other relevant trade certifications preferred.
