We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cherry Picker to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced distribution center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently picking and moving products using cherry picker equipment, ensuring accuracy and safety in all operations. This role is vital to maintaining the flow of goods within our warehouse environment.
Duties
Operate cherry picker equipment to retrieve products from high storage locations.
Perform order picking tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all items are picked according to customer specifications.
Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to maintain inventory accuracy and assist with stock organization.
Utilize RF scanners to track inventory movements and ensure proper documentation of picked orders.
Conduct routine inspections of cherry picker equipment and report any maintenance needs to supervisors.
Adhere to OSHA safety standards while performing duties, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
Assist in heavy lifting and moving of pallets using pallet jacks as needed.
Requirements
Proven experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment, preferably with cherry picker operation for at least 1 year.
Familiarity with order picking processes and equipment, including clamp trucks and forklifts.
Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks, as the role requires moving products weighing up to 50 pounds.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse operations is preferred.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules as needed.
Schedule
5:30am – 2:30pm
7:30am – 4:15pm
8:15am – 5:00pm
