At the direction of a machinist, a shop helper will assist Machinist to operate CNC Machine. Will assist in maintenance of the machines to include: removal of chip, maintain clean environment and assist with shipping and receiving. As well as the following:
Receive raw materials
Cleans and inspects parts
Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages
Package finished goods into correct packages and boxes
Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues
Place finished goods on the designated pallet
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Assist with the laser machine engraving
Other duties and responsibilities as required
