Trucking company is looking for an experienced diesel mechanic to work on 53' dry van trailers and semi trucks and all makes and models. Option to work (W-2) for the company or (1099) independent contractor.
Mechanic must be willing to travel and be okay with being out for up to 5 days at a time.
Must be okay with working weekends, nights, holidays, 40 hours min.
QUALIFICATIONS
Min 2 years experience
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required
Valid driver license
Willing to trave
Willing to drive the service truck
Responsibilities
Expectations include but are not limited to the ability to diagnose and repair the following without supervision: Clutches, PTO systems, electric systems, hydraulic/ air bake systems, heating/ air conditioning systems, instruments and gauges, and preventative maintenance service. Must be okay with doing road calls, willing to travel and be okay with being out for up to 5 days at a time.
Must be okay with working weekends, nights, holidays, etc. 40 hours minimum per week.
