We have two positions open for our Distribution Team and would like to fill them as soon as possible.
The compensation for both roles is $17.00 an hour.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Load finished cabinets sequentially into the hauling trailer
- Maintain a safe working environment, including housekeeping and compliance with safety rules.
- Must be able to operate pit equipment
- Understand Loading / Sequencing / Scanning Process.
- Willing to be cross-trained and accept additional tasks when needed to meet customer demands.
- Understand the sleeving process and sleeve/label cabinets.
- Understand the strapping process and operate the strapping machine
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.
Education, Experience, and Skills:
- A high school diploma or general equivalency degree (GED) is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of manufacturing or assembly experience.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common business documents such as manufacturing schedules. Ability to listen and communicate effectively with co-workers and customers/clients to respond to common inquiries or complaints.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts like addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division to inventory control, production tracking, and verification tasks.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an assorted number of tasks or instructions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, kneel, bend, twist, and walk. The employee must frequently use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to speak and communicate with other employees and be able to hear well enough to recognize warning signals, forklifts, and announcements. The employee is frequently required to lift to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Indoor manufacturing environment. The noise level is usually moderate to high, and hearing protection may be required. Safety glasses are required, and work gloves are required. Occasional overtime and weekend work required.
