DUAL POSITION: ORDER PULLER/DRIVER (Full-Time) (JURUPA VALLEY)
Compensation: Starting $18+ DOE
Employment type: Full-time
Shift: 7 am -3:30 pm with opportunity for OT based on route schedule.
We're looking for an experienced Class C driver who is familiar with the metal industry and can drive a 20-foot flatbed truck. This is a dual position - Order puller that also drives and delivers material. Heavy emphasis on shop work. Material ranges from 20 foot tubing/bar to metal sheets, plus many other metal materials.

Required:
Valid driver's license and clean DMV record. CDL Class A NOT required.
Must provide 3 year DMV printout
Ability to pass drug test
Must possess a cell phone
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience and Education:
Previous metal industry experience is PREFERRED
Experience in operating forklifts is a PLUS, but not required
Must be able to read and speak English
Physical Requirements:
Sitting / standing for extended periods of time is common
Must be able to lift 70lbs without accommodation. Heavy emphasis on order pulling.
Ability to work in shifted hours or overtime specified by Star Metals, if needed.
Roles and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
MUST have the ability to accurately pull orders in a fast-paced environment
MUST have the ability to work overtime
MUST have the ability to calculate basic math equations
MUST be proficient with numbers
Ability to load and unload a truck accordingly
Ability to accurately read a tape measure
Ability to convert fractions to decimals
Ability to pass background check and drug test
