Mitigation Technician – Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Mitigation Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for responding to water, fire, mold, and other property damage emergencies. Technicians assist in assessing damage, performing cleanup, setting up equipment, demolition and documenting the mitigation process.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to emergency mitigation calls in a timely manner
Perform water extraction, demolition, cleaning, and drying procedures
Set up and monitor drying equipment (dehumidifiers, air movers, etc.)
Maintain detailed job notes and documentation
Follow safety and industry standards (IICRC preferred)
Provide excellent customer service on-site
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments
On-call availability for emergency jobs
Experience in mitigation or restoration is a plus
