Monday -Friday (some Saturdays required)
$22.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Organize tractor trailers within the space to ensure trailers are ready for loading, unloading, and transport
Maintain yard organization in accordance with yard flow map
Complete and submit daily yard shuttle log
Maintain clear communication with office for instructions and directions
Safely operates tractor, yard truck
Assist warehouse with opening and closing of bay doors
Open and close trailers/containers
Perform safety checks on trucks, trailers, and other equipment used for warehouse/yard purposes
Follows written/verbal instructions to perform daily work assignments
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and shift priorities as business conditions demand
Inspects fleet vehicles on regular basis and reports safety/maintenance concerns to manager
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
High School Diploma/GED or the equivalent experience
2+ years’ experience operating gasoline or diesel-powered tractor trailer combination
Proven customer service skills
Current class C or higher driver's license
