Job Title: Temporary Landscape/ Maintenance Worker – Parks Division
Location: City of Perris, CA
Hourly Rate: $20.00/ hr
Duration: Approximately 3 to 6 months
Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 6 AM – 2:30 PM

Position Summary:
This role involves hands-on work in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of city parks and outdoor recreation areas. This position includes driving a company vehicle to and between work sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Mow, rake, and blow park grounds
Trim, fertilize, and water landscaped areas
Remove weeds, brush, dead trees, and branches using chain and hand saws
Maintain and care for trees and park vegetation
Collect and dispose of trash and debris throughout park facilities
Drive a company vehicle to various park locations as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a High School Diploma or GED
Must have a Valid driver’s license with no more than 1 point on DMV record
Must pass a DMV driving record check and background check
Ability to safely operate landscaping equipment and perform physical labor
Must have 1-2 years Previous park or grounds maintenance experience
Must be comfortable driving a company vehicle during work hours
