Job Summary
Installers: work in a fast-paced environment where you will impact customers to help fulfill their material handling needs. You will be performing installation work at customer locations consistently focusing on superior quality and performance.
This position works with installation teams to set up shelving, racking, mezzanine, and other material handling systems in various sizes of warehouses, shops, and for a wide range of businesses.
Primary Responsibilities:
Building, assembling, tearing down, and relocating storage systems.
Work with team to complete projects on or before the deadline.
Complete installation projects to the highest quality.
Take direction from supervisors.
Able to take initiative and be self-motivated.
Wear proper attire to meet dress code including proper personal protective equipment.
Able to effectively communicate with team members.
Ensure all work done is at the highest level of safety abiding by all OSHA and Cal OSHA safety standards.
Be a professional representation of QMH Inc. to all customers.
Qualifications & Skills:
Must be able to follow instructions
High level of customer service and professionalism; assuring appropriate customer communication
Able to work in teams with a positive “can do” attitude.
Strong safety conscience attitude and work ethic.
Certified Forklift driver not required but is a plus.
Construction background preferably
Clean driving record not required but is a plus
Physical Demands:
Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time during workday.
Climb up and down ladders, scaffolds, and other climbing devices.
May operate power and/or hand tools.
Use arms and hands to reach, handle, and manipulate objects.
Lifting and carrying 40-60lbs of weight.
Travel will be required mostly in the greater Los Angeles area with occasional travel to other areas in California.
