Position Overview:
The 3rd Shift Freezer Associate plays a key role in coordinating the handling, storage, and flow of finished products within our warehouse, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring timely, safe operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the flow and storage of finished products in the warehouse.
- Receive inbound loads daily, plan shipping, and arrange storage for excess products.
- Adjust storage assignments to handle daily product flow efficiently.
- Check product availability by reviewing inventory records or performing spot checks.
- Identify, report, and rotate slow-moving products as needed.
- Track and label products by quantity, type, and Best By Date.
- Report inventory status, discrepancies, and stock needs to the Supervisor and Lead.
- Ensure all necessary documentation is completed and submitted on time.
- Transfer and deliver products to designated locations.
- Pick and prepare orders for shipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in all areas.
- Attend all company-required training sessions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of shipping and warehouse operations.
- Ability to work in a sub-zero environment (-20°F).
- Minimum of one year as a certified Forklift Operator.
- Two years of experience in a warehouse role.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and safety-minded approach.
- Proficient in basic math.
- Excellent attendance and safety record.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Capable of meeting physical demands of the job.
Personal Protection Equipment (PPE):
Must use and maintain PPE as required for safety.
