We’re seeking a hardworking individual to join our team as a Shop Helper/Detailer. If you’re dependable, eager to learn, and not afraid to get your hands dirty, this could be a great opportunity to start a rewarding career in the industry.
Responsibilities:
Assist mechanics and drivers with daily tasks
Perform general cleaning and sweeping in the yard.
Check tire pressures
Pick up parts and supplies as needed
Keep the shop organized, clean, and safe
Wash trucks and trailers and maintain their appearance
Detail responsibilities: Inspecting the truck interior and exterior to evaluate the condition of the equipment. Apply products such as waxes, polishes, and cleaners to enhance the shine of the body, wheels, and glass. Operate equipment such as steamers, vacuums, and buffers on upholstery and paint.
Manage the inventory of cleaning supplies.
Qualifications:
Mechanically inclined with a willingness to learn
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
Prior detailing preferred.
Good listener with solid verbal communication skills
Forklift experience is a plus
Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic
Comfortable working in a hands-on, sometimes dirty environment
Ability to meet physical demands of the position
Able to work in all weather conditions
Must be able to work every other Saturday.
Must have a valid driver’s license
High school diploma
