Job description
LIFE SKILLS COACH is best described as a position for a person who wants a fulfilling job helping adults with learning disabilities learn a new skill to help them with everyday life.
The pay is $18.00 hr. will train. This is a 7-hour work day M-F. Total of 30 hours a week.
We are looking for candidates who would Enjoy working in an awesome, happy environment. You do not need any special skills other than the desire to help others.
NOTE; There is No personal hygiene care or dispensing of medication
Summary of this position:
Arrive at work to be greeted by "Your" group of adults. The day consists of helping the adults with a variety of topics such as crafts, reading basic math, and other busy activities for the adults. There are occasional outings to the library, maybe the park or to exercise classes using a company SUV.
Must be 21 yrs. old with a VALID California License to drive a SUV to outings
Must enjoy being around adults with special needs
Lead by example, great attendance
Pass a Criminal Background Screening in accordance with State Law
Shift is Monday-Friday 7:30 am-3 pm. OR 8:30am -3:30pm . Lunch is 30 minutes.
