30+ positions in Riverside, CA: seeking skilled and dedicated Tradesman with a construction background for a well-known manufacturer of below-ground pads/enclosures for telecommunications, electrical, CATV, eater, traffic lighting, and industrial applications manufacturing process of fiberglass, polymer, and concrete products from inception to completion.
These positions are temp to hire
Payrate: 1st shift (3:00 am-2:30 pm)$19.10 / 2nd shift (2:30 pm-12:30 am) $20.10
Must be able to train on 1st shift for 2-4 weeks, no OT during training.
Responsibilities:
Setting correctly sized mold in proper place to receive polymer concrete material.
Adding the required quantity of cement resin and catalyst liquids for molding of covers and box products.
Monitoring the curing process of materials to assure quality product is produced.
Placing reinforcements in materials as specifications dictate.
Inspecting cured product for visible defects and quality.
Demolding products after curing and hand trimming excess material using common hand tools.
Cleaning and preparing molds for next process (waxing, inserts, fiberglass, etc.).
Maintaining a clean work area and tools.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Familiarity with production environments and isometric drawings
Proficient with common power tools (hammers, drills, grinders, hoists)
Basic math, reading, and writing skills
Good judgment and ability to perform in industrial settings
Physical capacity to stand long hours and lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to pass E-verify
Spanish speakers welcome
Desired Experience:
6 months to 1 year in manufacturing or fast-paced assembly line
Exposure to manufacturing practices and shop floor techniques
Experience operating tools relevant to the role
Physical Demands
Requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs with assistance
Must be able to perform tasks like climbing, stooping, and effective communication
