Job Summary: As a Warehouse Clerk specializing in material picking, your primary responsibility is to efficiently and accurately gather materials and products from warehouse inventory based on specific orders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Order Picking:
Retrieve products from shelves, bins, or pallets based on pick tickets or orders.
Ensure that picked items match the order specifications regarding quantity, quality, and part numbers.
Utilize picking lists or handheld devices to locate and confirm product locations.
2. Stock Management:
Maintain accurate records of picked items.
Assist in conducting regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks to ensure inventory accuracy.
Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory levels or product quality promptly.
3. General Warehouse Support:
Collaborate with other warehouse team members to optimize workflow and ensure efficient operations.
Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts to move and transport materials as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the picking area and the warehouse as a whole.
